smartOPTIMO is a successful service provider in the field of energy and metering services. To improve team accessibility and efficiently integrate new employees from the start, smartOPTIMO sought a solution that would make internal contacts automatically and centrally available. smartOPTIMO supports energy suppliers in Germany in the digitalization and automation of energy and metering services. The company relies on efficient processes and modern IT solutions to optimally support its customers.


Efficient onboarding of new employees


When onboarding new employees, there was no central access to current contact information. Information had to be obtained manually – a complex process that was time-consuming and led to information gaps. Synchronizing the Global Address List (Microsoft GAL) with mobile devices and Microsoft Teams was particularly important.


Current contacts immediately available


With sync.blue®, smartOPTIMO opted for a contact management software that automatically synchronizes the Microsoft GAL with smartphones and Microsoft Teams. New employees thus have immediate access to current and complete contact lists – directly on their smartphones and in Teams. Employee accessibility has noticeably improved: Time-consuming searches for contact details are no longer necessary, and internal communication is significantly faster.
